This targeted course equips fuel producers, importers, policymakers, and compliance professionals with a clear understanding of the EPA’s 2026–2027 Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) proposed rule. Participants will gain practical knowledge on upcoming volume requirements for cellulosic biofuel, biomass-based diesel, advanced biofuel, and total renewable fuel. The course covers new regulatory changes—such as the partial waiver of 2025 cellulosic requirements, the 50% RIN reduction for imported fuels and feedstocks, and the removal of renewable electricity (eRINs)—as well as technical amendments to program definitions and compliance mechanisms.
