In this course you will learn the following:
* Identify the legal and regulatory basis for the new cybersecurity requirements.
* Understand the key cybersecurity obligations for owners, operators, and designated Cybersecurity Officers (CySO).
* Implement, document, and maintain required technical and organizational cybersecurity controls for IT and OT systems.
* Develop and maintain a compliant Cybersecurity Plan and Cyber Incident Response Plan.
* Prepare for Coast Guard inspections, drills, exercises, and audits.
* Recognize the consequences of non-compliance, including legal, financial, and operational impacts.
* Apply waiver and equivalency procedures where full compliance is not feasible.
