EPA Final Rule: Delaware River Water Quality Standards for Aquatic Life Protection
This training provides actionable, domain-specific guidance on the EPA’s revised water quality standards for the Delaware River mainstem (Zones 3, 4, and upper Zone 5). Learn how new dissolved oxygen criteria and the designated use for the protection and propagation of aquatic life will affect NPDES permitting, compliance strategies, and municipal and industrial dischargers. The course covers scientific rationale, legal requirements, implementation tools, economic impacts, and the implications for endangered sturgeon species across Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
